For you young folks we were not required to wear seatbelts back then… Then time has passed, and I went through plenty of cars until the late 80’s, when my roommate happen to own a 5.0 at that time, and I was in Public Safety, he was a Firefighter and we worked shift work, needless to say I would take every opportunity to borrow his ride when he was gone at 24 hours at a time… lets leave it that.. I would replace the gas when I was done… To keep this short we grew up, got married, bought a house, and the curtain climbers arrive. Well, the kids are older, and no longer need my assistance so, in February 2008 I walked onto a local ford dealership and there she was just getting off the truck and I was able to buy my first Shelby GT convertible.. I’m now hooked and out of control… Now I’m passing the traditions onto my older son who then just turned 16 last year and he bought his first car a 98 Mustang V6 coupe, so after searching the websites looking to add modification to our cars I joined a NJ local MCA Club South Jersey Mustang Club then going to shows and winning my first trophy at Carlisle All Fords in 2008 and making friends from all over the east coast and wanting to keep in touch on a regular basis and I then went out created a web base Mustang enthusiast club badponyclub to share my experiences when I realized that now I belong to several Mustang forums and there should be a place for me to acknowledge that I’m a Stangoholic with all that I have created and the Mods that have been added.. My son and myself went out and wanted to add to our list. He sold his V6 and bought a 2011 Kona Blue V6 in April, and a month later I went and ordered 2011 5.0 Sterling Grey with a late June 2010 delivery date..stay tuned Recent Awards and Recognitions At the 22nd Annual Bellefonte Show on June 19, State College Mustang Member Aaron (501rwhp) won first place in the Modified Mustangs class while State College Mustang Member Rusty (300GT) won second place in the same class.
